Shin Hokuto Musou

Shin Hokuto Musou (真・北斗無双) is a smartphone version of the Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage saga, a musou-style action game created by Tecmo Koei for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and WII U. In it, you play as Kenshiro on his journey through a post-apocalyptic world where he confronts his brothers from Hokuto Shinken, as well as other characters from the popular manganime, including Shin, Toki, Yuria, and many others.

Following the plot written by Tetsuo Hara and Buronson, you can unlock characters through the usual gacha system. You can also level up with the rewards you earn in different game modes. As is typical in this type of MMO, special seasonal events and daily tasks revolve around a central thread with a main mission.

As for controls, this is a third-person action game where you kill waves of enemies on each level. To do so, you'll need to use your special abilities, ideally killing several enemies at once. In fact, that's actually the main aim of this subgenre, in which one player fights against hundreds of others.

Shin Hokuto Musou is a fantastic game, especially for anyone who likes The Fist of the North Star. It's an interesting musou with high-quality 3D graphics, thanks largely to the fact that they're borrowed from more commercial titles already available on the console.
